It is not by chance we have become the world’s leading manufacturer of compact aerial equipment.

It started in 1935 when a Danish blacksmith, Ejnar Falck Schmidt started his own company when he found a need for more customized and efficient products than generally offered. His reputation for craftsmanship, innovation, quality and a never ending focus on safety quickly allowed the company to become the first and leading Scandinavian manufacturer of truck mounted hydraulic aerial lift equipment. Later the company branched into other hydraulic applications from emergency vehicles to military equipment. But the lifts were always close at heart.

In the late 1970’s the company invented the so-called spider concept: A compact lift that could go through a single door, yet reach – at that time – the astonishing work height of 46 ft. Later envied and copied by many, but never matched, an entire new product, or rather solution, was born. A decade later the company built the tallest compact lift in the world, the TST180, to this day, still a world record.

Fast forwarding to today, our product line is more exciting and comprehensive than ever.

Following a successful merger in 2005 between ReachMaster’s parent company E. Falck Schmidt AS and another well renowned lift manufacturer in Denmark, Denka Lift AS, all activities are now combined in Worldlift Industries AS, the parent company of ReachMaster, Inc.

With the merger, the already well renown Falcon product line was expanded to also include the equally well renown Denka product line of compact aerial lifts as well as trailer lifts. Our latest addition came in 2007 where ReachMaster, Inc. was appointed exclusive North American distributor for a highly efficient and competive compact lift portfolio from Hinowa S.p.a. in Italy.

I’m confident you’ll not only find a solution to your aerial needs, but also a company to whom safety has been the number one priority for more than 70 years. And we intend to keep it that way.
